Limited space workout

I don’t like the gym and I can’t workout at home because i just don’t have the space!

An excuse I hear time and time again. You don’t need to workout in a gym if you don’t enjoy it, you don’t ever have to lift a weight if you don’t want to, but there is no excuse to not workout purely because you lack the space.

I recently went away for the weekend to Madrid, I was very lucky as the hotel had a gym so I could pick up a few weights and get my heart pumping. However, the equipment and the size of the gym limited my usual workout. That didn’t stop me and I improvised with a quick sweaty HIIT session to get my heart rate up and my body working. I have filmed the workout to give you an idea of things you can do quickly and easily at home.

If you need that extra kick up the bum from a trainer but you don’t want to step foot in a gym, I can come to you, put you through your paces and well on your way to achieving your health and fitness goals. Fitness should be fun and varied, don’t feel you have to follow what everyone else is doing. If its getting you moving then you’re doing it right.

If you haven’t got access to weights, use anything you have in the kitchen cupboards, bottles of squash or tins. If you aren’t quite ready to include extra weight, just use your bodyweight. Keep good posture and form throughout even if you have to slow your reps down slightly. One slower rep performed correctly is far better than 10 reps performed poorly.
